Turning heads, and making waves in the motocross scene is Missouri local, Benny Bloss. The Cycle Trader backed athlete made his debut in 450 A and Open Pro Sport this year at the Ranch. With the likes of riders such as Mark Worth, Marshal Weltin, and Mitchell Harrison it was no easy task for Bloss to bring home a championship in Open Pro Sport, and a 3rd in 450 A. With also receiving the Horizon award, we took the chance to talk with Benny before he makes his pro debut at Unadilla this weekend in the 450 class.
MP: Let's talk about lorettas, you captured the title in open pro sport. How does it feel to see your hard work paying off?
Benny Bloss: Loretta's was a fantastic week for me. It's always been a dream of mine to win a championship there, and to do it my last year going there and in the Open Pro Sport class was really an awesome feeling for me.
Missouri's Benny Bloss put himself on the map sometime ago, however most recently his inspiring performances at Loretta Lynn's as well as his big podium at the Monster Energy Cup let it be known to the industry he means business. With plans to do even better this year, Benny is shooting for the stars...in a literal sense as well. Picking up a camera during his injured down time, Benny has been honing his skills with the lens and looks to explore more opportunities there as well. Bloss has got quite a big plate with a lot on it as 2015 kicks into gear and he wouldn't have it any other way. Look for Benny and his Blu Cru backed Yamaha's to be fighting for the top spot at a race near you.
