Challen  Tennant

Picture
Willis, Texas based KTM Orange Brigade rider Challen Tennant killed it at the Thor Winter Olympics. The #71 KTM rider won all but two championships that he came for, six in total when all was said and done. After missing several major events due to lingering injuries, Tennant has now made a full recovery and is taking the Intermediate ranks by storm. Challen started things off with two national titles on the Supercross track, sweeping the 250 B Limited class and taking the main event win in the Schoolboy 2 (13-16) B/C division. When Challen stepped outdoors, he raced with a dominant intensity that few matched throughout the rest of the week. Tennant pushed his KTM to four championship sweeps, claiming both moto wins and the title in the 250 B, 250 B Limited, 450 B, and 450 B Limited class along the way. His efforts on the Gatorback track also won him the Scott Golden Goggle Award! Tennant had a great first week back and if he remains healthy this is only the beginning.

250 B
Challen Tennant launched to a huge holeshot as 250 B hit the track. Tennant has been on the gas lately, riding with intensity unlike ever before. Tennant styled his way around the track, railing the corners and launching every booter on the Mini O’s Supercross track as far as the limits would let him. Challen led the 250 B main event wire to wire starting his week on a dominant note in a class that is notoriously the most stacked in the field. Tennant took the win comfortably, never facing any pressure from the rest of the field on his way to his first championship of the week in Florida at the Thor Winter Olympics.

Challen Tennnant was at it again, this time in the Schoolboy 2 (13-16) B/C class. Pulling another super clean holeshot, Tennant led the pack of high school aged aggressors around the technical Mini O’s Supercross course. Tennant rode at a blistering fast pace, rarely dabbing a foot or losing form as the sprint pushed on at full bore. Tennant’s controlled yet "hang it out" style is really working for him this week in Florida as he seals the deal on his second clean sweep of the day with the Schoolboy 2 (13-16) B/C national championship.

Tennant’s speed is tough to match right now, as he proved as he took a demanding win during the opening moto of outdoor competition in the 250 B Division 1 class. Challen has been on the injured reserve for a while but he is now back and faster than ever. The #71 Thor backed KTM rider looks good on the fast motocross track and is threatening to clean house as the week continues forward.

250 B
What more can be said of Challen Tennant. Tennant has been a B class wrecking ball, crashing everyone’s hopes of a title in the class as he has collected quite a few of them this week. Tennant was stupid fast again in the 250 B final, ripping a strong second place start and lurking fiercely behind. Once the current front runner couldn’t handle the pressure anymore, Tennant quickly took over and showed the boys the business again taking a commanding win adding another notch on his championship belt.

Grabbing his sixth national title, Challen Tennant is back and better than ever! Challen was slaying the Gatorback Cycle Park motocross track all week long. Tennant’s past injuries held him back from competing from the Monster Energy Cup and a few other key events on his schedule so he wanted to make as big of a statement as possible in his first race back on the #71 machine. Tennant’s six championships put him amongst a very talented list of riders to take multiple championships etching his place in the Mini O’s record books forever.
